A place for solitude in the heart of a busy biennial

Space4architecture is an award-winning New York-based architectural design studio. Inspired by the Venetian ‘calle’, or narrow lane, the firm created an experimental installation that provided visitors with a moment of calm at the Time Space Existence biennial exhibition in Venice. Experimenting with scale and proportion, the narrow space provides a solitary, quiet and intimate destination away from the busy environment of the exhibition.
