Frontline journalism from a young and acclaimed biennial

PLANE—SITE conceived and produced a video series for ArchDaily to highlight the themes, projects and protagonists from the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial.

Working in collaboration with Spirit of Space, we produced a series of short video dispatches from the biennial’s opening weekend. Over 40 participants from each of the exhibition’s curatorial sections were interviewed, resulting in a poignant collection of narratives tracing how designers, artists and architects collide in the context of a fledgling biennial.
